Your choice
On your first visit a consent banner asks which cookies you allow. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies load only if you accept them, and nothing in those two categories runs before you opt in.
We use three categories of cookies and similar storage:
- Necessary: make the site work and remember your basic preferences. Always on.
- Analytics: help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Off until you accept.
- Marketing: let us measure and improve our advertising on Meta and TikTok. Off until you accept.
Necessary
These are required for the site to work and to remember your choices. They build no advertising profile.

Analytics
Loaded only after you accept analytics. We use Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are used and how visitors move through the site, so we can improve it. This is aggregate usage measurement, not advertising.
Google processes this data on our behalf. See Google’s privacy policy for details. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see section 05).
Marketing
Loaded only after you accept marketing. These let us measure whether our ads work (for example, that a visit became a request or a booking) and improve them. We use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API and the TikTok Pixel and Events API.

When a conversion happens, a limited set of data, including your hashed email or phone number (never in readable form), may be sent to Meta and TikTok so the event can be matched. These providers process data outside the EU; that transfer relies on your consent and their standard safeguards. See the Meta and TikTok privacy policies for details.
Change or withdraw consent
You stay in control at all times:
- Cookie settings: use the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer to reopen the banner and change or withdraw your choice whenever you like.
- Clear site data for drivewatch.nl in your browser to remove everything we store.
- Private / incognito mode: nothing persists after you close the window.
Withdrawing consent stops any new analytics or marketing cookies. Cookies already placed are removed when you clear your browser data.
